A convict named Siddhesh Kamble alias Mahakal claims that he had come to know only a week ago that Moose Wala was about to be murdered. Mahakal was arrested by the Pune Police. A few days back he said that Lawrence Bishnoi's gang threatened Salman Khan to come in news.

Mahakal was arrested by Pune police (rural) a week after the murder of Moose Wala. It is being said that Mahakal is also the henchman of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The police officer said that Mahakal was in touch with Vikram Brar a week before the date of Moose Wala's murder i.e. May 29. It has also been found that in order that the agencies could not catch their conversations, the gang's henchmen used to use social media for discussion among themselves and used encrypted message apps and talked in codewords. The Pune police team is in Delhi to question Lawrence Bishnoi. Pune police want to get a clue from Bishnoi about Santosh Jadhav. Santosh Jadhav is also a shooter of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang which has confessed to being involved in the killing of Sidhu Moose Wala and is also a criminal in a murder case in Pune. Maharashtra Police has registered a case against him under MCOCA. The Pune police will also find out from Bishnoi how many people from Maharashtra are part of his gang. On Thursday, Siddhesh Kamble alias Mahakal, during the interrogation of the Mumbai Police, had said that it was three henchmen of the Bishnoi gang who had sent a threatening letter to Salman Khan and his father.
