Amritsar: Former Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu has hit out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal over the sacrilege case. Sharing a video of a press conference from the time of the elections, Sidhu said who is stopping him from taking action now. In the video shared by Sidhu, Delhi CM Kejriwal is seen saying that action can be taken within 24 hours against the accused in the incidents of sacrilege. Kejriwal then attacked CM Charanjit Singh Channi and said these things somewhere.

In it, Kejriwal had said that the people of Punjab were outraged by the inaction over the incidents of desecration in Faridkot in 2015. He said, "The masterminds of the incidents of sacrilege have not been punished so far. I don't need to tell who the masterminds are? Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh's report has names, and Channi Sahab can go through it, the culprits can be arrested within 24 hours.''

The video has also been tweeted by several Congress leaders. Congress MLA Pargat Singh also shared the video and questioned Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann as to who is stopping them from taking action now? Former IPS officer Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh was part of a special investigation team probing the 2015 Kotkapura and Behbal Kalan police firing incidents in Punjab. He joined AAP last year and has been elected mla from the Amritsar North assembly constituency.
