After that, Shri Krishna raised the Govardhan mountain on his finger for seven consecutive days. In the end, Lord Indra realized his mistake and the disaster was averted, while Shri Krishna ate eight kinds of food every day and had not eaten anything for the sake of protecting the villagers for seven days.
