Sharad Babu, one of the finest actors of Telugu and Tamil cinema, has passed away at the age of 71. He was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad last month. He was on ventilator. He worked in more than 220 movies in his career.

He was born on July 31, 1951 in Andhra Pradesh only. His real name was Satyam Babu Dixit. Today i.e. on Monday, the family members of Sharad Babu have confirmed his death.
