Simple Kapadia, sister of renowned entertainment actress Dimple Kapadia, has been a well-known Bollywood actress. After working on many films, she thought of pursuing a career in fashion design and also succeeded in this field, but died of cancer on November 10, 2009. Today is her 11th death anniversary. At the age of 18, Simple made her acting career as an actress in 1977 with a film Anurodh, which co-starred Rajesh Khanna. Rajesh was then married to her sister Dimple and was her brother-in-law. In her 10-year film career, Simple worked in many movies, including Lootmar, Shaka, Parakh, Dulha Bikta Nahin, Hum Rahe Na Hum, Pyaar Ke Do Pal.

Simple Kapadia was active in Hindi cinema in the 80s and 90s. She started her acting career with the 1987 film 'Insaaf.' Thereafter, she acted in a few more films, but her character remained secondary. Even after a constant struggle in her acting career of 10 years, Simple Kapadia could not garner the same fame as her sister Dimple Kapadia.

Thereafter, Simple Kapadia quit acting and turned to design and became a costume designer. She designed costumes for many movies like 'Rudali,' 'Rok Sako To Rok Lo,' 'Shaheed.' Simple also received the National Award for 'Rudali.' Apart from films, Simple Kapadia also designed clothes in films for actresses like Tabu, Priyanka Chopra and Sridevi. Simple's career as a designer shone and she never looked back again. Don't know what was acceptable to luck. As soon as she succeeded in her designing career then suddenly she came to know that she was in the grip of cancer and then one day Simple Kapadia left the world. If she were alive today, she would have ruled the fashion world.
