The Central Government has been targeted by Sitaram Yechury, secretary of the CPI(M) over the sluggishness in the economy and job loss in the country. Yechury said the government's focus is not on tackling economic challenges. Economic growth is not possible in the kind of environment that the government has created in the country. He also said that the government is working on the RSS agenda and economic growth cannot happen in such an environment.

Yechury tweeted on Wednesday, attacking the central government over job shortages and the state of the economy. In the meantime, he said, such issues do not have the attention of the government. The policy that the BJP government is working on and the kind of environment it has created can neither create jobs nor lead to economic growth.
