The facelifted Skoda Kodiaq SUV is slated to hit Indian roads next week. Skoda has revealed some of the important features of the next generation Kodiaq ahead of its January 10 introduction. One of these is a segment-exclusive feature that promises a better driving experience.

The new Skoda Kodiaq SUV for 2022 has a Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) technology. According to Skoda, the technology adjusts the SUV's shock absorbers to alter the damping characteristics. The adjustment is made based on the driver's preferred driving modes.Skoda will sell the Kodiaq SUV in up to five different driving options. Eco, Normal, Sports, Snow, and Individual are some of the options.

A 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine will power the 2022 Kodiaq SUV. It has a maximum output of 190 horsepower and a peak torque of 320 Nm. The engine will most likely be paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. On the interior, the facelifted Kodiaq SUV will gain a few new amenities. The dashboard is dominated by an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in navigation and wireless connectivity. Behind the steering wheel is a bigger 10.25-inch digital driver display. Three zones of automatic climate control will be available, and the doors will be equipped with a 12-speaker Canton sound system.

The front seats of the Kodiaq will be ventilated, with both cooling and heating options. The driver's seat may be adjusted in 12 different ways and has memory functions.The 2022 Kodiaq SUV will also include an electrically controlled panoramic sunroof. Hands-free parking, ambient lighting, three-zone automated climate control, front and rear parking sensors, nine airbags, and other innovations are likely to be included in Kodiaq.

The Skoda Kodiaq SUV is expected to be priced at 35 lakh (ex-showroom). The old model used to start at 33 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). When it debuts, the sportier Kodiaq SUV will compete against the Volkswagen Tiguan, Hyundai Tucson, and Citroen C5 Aircross, among others.
