Mlada: In late 2023, SKODA plans to introduce the fourth generation of the SUPERB, its flagship model, to international markets. In the most recent development, a sedan prototype that was ready for production was spotted conducting test drives despite being heavily camouflaged. The new model will be wider and longer than the previous one.

As a full-size sedan, the first SKODA SUPERB made its debut in 1934. It operated effectively until 1949. The nickname came back into fashion in 2001 after the Czech automaker reintroduced it in a contemporary form. Three generations of cars have been produced since then. In order to gain market share in the premium sedan segment, the company is now preparing to unveil its fourth-generation model.

The SKODA SUPERB of 2023 will look largely the same as the current model. The sedan will have a long, sculpted hood, a butterfly grille that will be instantly recognisable, sleek LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, a wide air dam, a sloping roofline, ORVMs, flared wheel arches, and modern designer alloy wheels. The next-generation vehicle will have a shark-fin antenna and wraparound LED taillights on the back end.

The fourth-generation SKODA SUPERB's interior is a secret. The flagship sedan is anticipated to have a roomy interior with a minimalist dashboard design, premium materials throughout, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a head-up display, a multifunctional steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and a sizable touchscreen infotainment system. Level-2 ADAS features would guarantee the security of passengers.

The upcoming SUPERB's technical specifications have not yet been disclosed by SKODA. However, in order to demonstrate the brand's dedication to a green future, we anticipate that the vehicle will be offered with a variety of strong- and mild-hybrid powertrains.

At its launch event, which is anticipated to take place in late 2023, SKODA will likely reveal specifics regarding the new-generation SUPERB's pricing and availability. We anticipate that the flagship full-size sedan will cost more than the current-generation model, which has an ex-showroom starting price of Rs. 34.19 lakh in India. After its global debut, the updated model will probably make its way to our shores in the early 2024
