Visakhapatnam: Slippers were thrown on a bus carrying former CM Chandrababu Naidu, who came to inspect construction works in Amravati district of Andhra Pradesh. The incident took place when the TDP chief's bus was passing near Venkatapalem. These farmers are protesting against Naidu in support of YSR Congress. Let me tell you that YSR Congress had already said that it will oppose Chandrababu Naidu's Amravati tour.
Along with this, he had said that he would protest against Naidu in collaboration with the farmers. Chandrababu Naidu arrived in Amravati on Thursday to inspect the ongoing construction works. Here he said that on the lines of Hyderabad, we wanted to make Amravati the most luxurious place to live, but Jagan Mohan Reddy destroyed the concept. Former CM Naidu told the media that I had given 'Vision 2020' for a developed Hyderabad and today it has the status of one of the best cities to live.
Naidu said that with that experience I prepared a similar plan for Amravati, but this Jagan Mohan Reddy ruined the concept. Let us tell you that a group of farmers had recently moved the Amravati High Court against any move to transfer the capital. According to the land pooling model, these farmers had given their land to the government in 29 villages during Naidu's reign.
