Washington: A small plane crashed on a Florida highway Friday afternoon, resulting in two fatalities, as confirmed by the Collier County Sheriff's Office to Fox News. The aircraft, identified as a Bombardier Challenger 600 business jet, went down on Interstate 75 in Naples, Florida, carrying a total of five individuals, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The plane departed from Ohio State University Airport around 1 p.m. ET, as reported by FOX 35. The pilot made an emergency landing request at Naples Airport, citing dual engine failure, shortly after 3 p.m. ET. Following the incident, all southbound lanes were closed, with disruptions also affecting northbound traffic.
