At present, mobility in the Indian market is growing rapidly, apart from the kind of bicycles, electric motorcycles have also entered the market. Pune-based Porti smart bikes are going to launch their pedal-assisted electric bikes in India on September 20. The company has already tees up the new e-Mobility start-up and will be launched in two categories - Sport and Executive. The company will bring down S1K, S2K and S3K in the sport category. Also, the executive category will launch E1K, E2K, and E3K, which are in the brand's product portfolio.

In case of hardware, the front of the Polarity bikes will feature adjustable USD forks, mono-shock at the rear, fat knob tires, digital instrument console, and LED lighting. The estimated price can range from Rs 35 thousand to Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

In this case, the Polarity Smart Bikes claim to run up to 80 km on a single charge and its top speed is around 100kmph. The bike will use an electric hub motor with a range of 1-3 kW and a lithium-ion battery. The company will also provide pedal assistance, which means you can run it on a pedal in addition to an electric motor. What is to be seen is the response of this electric bike in the market and how it will appeal to people.
