Vehicle manufacturer TVS has launched a special edition of its commuter motorcycle Radeon. This bike is available in two variants - drum and disc. Their ex-showroom price is Rs 52,720 and 54,820 respectively. This is the first time the company has launched this bike with a disc brake option. The launch of TVS Radeon completes one year and is the highest award-winning commuter motorcycle this year. To celebrate this, the company has launched the Radeon Special Edition.

The new paint option TVS has given special edition radon with chrome accents. The bike has a black engine and gold finish engine case cover. Its fuel tank has pads, fuel tank cushion (spelt R), chrome rearview mirrors and carburettor covers. The special seat given in brown colour gives a retro touch to the bike. Special Edition Radon is available in two colours - Chrome Black and Chrome Brown.

According to media reports, there has been no change in this mechanical bike. It has 109.7 CC, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine generates 8 bhp of power at 7000rpm and 8.7 Nm of torque at 5000rpm. The engine is equipped with a 4-speed gearbox. The company claims that its mileage is 69.3 kilometres per litre. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is 10-liter. TVS launched the Radon bike in August 2018. So far, the company has sold more than 2 lakh radon. The special edition has come in the radon festive season. It is believed that this can help the company to increase the sales of Radon.
