It is not a cakewalk in today’s time to make a name for oneself, given the competitive landscape in every vertical. Hard Work, consistency, determination and passion are few traits that help people make a name for themselves in the long run. One such person, having all these qualities and having made a name for himself is Dhruv Kapoor, a social activist and the Chairman of the International Human Rights and Crime Control Council of India (NGO), Delhi State. He created quite a buzz recently when he was appointed as Member of the Telephone Advisory Committee, Ministry of Communication, Government of India for a two year term.

Hailing from a very humble background and having graduated from the prestigious Delhi University with an honours degree in the field of Political Science, Dhruv has successfully fought all the obstacles that came in his way and have earned a name for himself. Having named as a Member of the Telephone Advisory Committee (TAC) that is a high-level Indian Government body composed of Members of Parliament (MPs) and prominent figures, Dhruv Kapoor will be directly under the Ministry of Communications, Government of India, that controls and addresses issues-related to the telecommunication sector in India.

An elated Dhruv Kapoor on the occasion stated, “It is indeed a great moment for me to have been appointed as a Member of the Telephone Advisory Committee (TAC). I feel my hard work has paid off and it is now my duty to strengthen the telecommunication sector in my little capacity. My foremost aim is to work with a holistic approach towards addressing numerous telecommunications challenges, particularly those in the interior regions, so that we can provide benefits to the citizens of our country.”

“There are numerous challenges in the telecommunication sector which we all are privy to and hence it would be on my priority to address these concerns at the earliest. Despite India going to celebrate 75th Independence Day in a few weeks, there is the issue of internet connectivity, particularly in the rural regions and interiors which needs to be addressed and I would be looking forward to do the same as soon as I take the charge as the Member of the Telephone Advisory Committee (TAC).”

The Telephone Advisory committee (TAC) is a high-level Indian Government body composed of Members of Parliament (MPs) and prominent figures who are directly appointed by the Ministry of Communications, Government of India, to handle telecommunications concerns in India.
