The trailer for the thriller series Dahaad, which stars Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Verma in the key roles, has finally been published by the series creators. A number of horrific murder cases are the focus of the new web series, which is a crime drama. Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar founded Tiger Baby Films, which is the production company for Dahaad. Sonakshi Sinha portrays a tough cop who is searching for a fugitive intruder. Vijay Varma is returned to play the antagonist in Darlings after portraying an abusive husband in the film, wooing women before forcing them to commit suicide.
The much-anticipated web series' teaser begins with a man reporting his sister missing. After all of the girls were unceremoniously discovered dead, a local police station is experiencing intense tension due to multiple girls going missing. As a number of women commit suicide one by one, Sonakshi, a police officer, begins to piece together the puzzle. As she sets out to find the murderer, she can be seen convincingly mouthing dialogue in a Haryanvi accent. As a cop, Gulshan also joins her. However, Vijay Varma seems to promise to play a ruthless antagonist once more. Sonakshi confronting eve teasing while wearing a uniform and shooing them away with her obscenities is one scenario that stands out.
The eight-episode program's summary stated: "Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati is tasked with leading the investigation when a number of women are discovered dead in public restrooms under suspicious circumstances. As the case develops, she starts to wonder if the apparent suicides were the work of a serial killer who is still at large, setting off an exciting game of cat and mouse between an experienced criminal and an underdog cop.

Dahaad is directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi and produced by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films. Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and Reema Kagti serve as executive producers on the series. The crime thriller series stars Sonakshi Sinha, alongside Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah in the lead roles. Dahaas will release on May 12, 2023, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
