After Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor begins the shooting for film Veere Di Wedding. Sonam was on a break after completing shooting for PadMan and Sanjay Dutt's biopic.

She spent the time with her rumoured beau Anand Ahuja and with her friends. Reports the source, "Sonam has been constantly travelling for her work commitments. After she took a break for a year, since February she has been constantly on the sets of her next movies. She was in New York to shoot for the Dutt biopic recently, and before that she was working on Padman with Akshay Kumar . Now she has started shooting for VDW and that will go on for a month. She will also start work on the next schedule of the Dutt biopic, and the final schedule for her film with Akshay will commence soon after."

Sonam on working after a year said, "After a year’s break, I am more than rejuvenated to take on work. I am so glad I am getting to work with such amazing film-makers. Creatively, this year has been amazing for me."

Alongwith Sonam, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar.
