Sonam Kapoor is currently busy with her movie  Veere Di Wedding. Apart from that, Sonam will also be seen in Sanjay Dutt's biopic where she will be reuniting with Ranbir Kapoor after 10 years. The two made their debut together with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya. 

While according to the buzz Sonam is rumored to be playing one of Sanjay's love interest, also an actor. But according to recent news, Sonam has refuted the rumors. 
 
It was rumored that Sonam would be playing wither Tina Munim or Madhuri Dixit in the movie, however, in a statement to a leading daily, Sonam said, "I have a small but important part in the movie. It’s not what everyone is thinking. I am not playing an actress. I am not allowed to say anything about it. But it has been wonderful working with Rajkumar Hirani. He is one of the biggest reasons why I said yes to this film.”
 
Moreover, Sonam is rumored to get married to beau Anand Ahuja in May this year. Sources close to the development have confirmed the wedding, however, Sonam continues to take Anushka Sharma's route and remains tight-lipped about it. 
 
On the work front, Sonam is currently busy with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with dad Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao and will soon begin shooting for The Zoya Factor.
