New Delhi: Sonia Gandhi, interim chairman of The Grace, has constituted a five-member committee. The committee will review the humiliating defeat given to the Congress in the five-state elections. The names of the members of the committee formed by Sonia Gandhi are Ashok Chavan (Chairman), Salman Khurshid, Manish Tewari, Vincent H Pala and Jyoti Mani. The committee will submit a full report in the next two weeks.

G-23 leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has been given the key responsibility in the Congress party. Sonia has appointed Azad as chairman of the Covid Task Force Party. This is the first achievement for Ghulam Nabi Azad after the letter was read out organically. Earlier, internal elections in congress have been postponed. In a meeting of the Congress Working Committee, organization general secretary KC Venugopal proposed to hold elections on June 23, which was opposed by other members. Now the corona epidemic will be the post-election. Congress members say a decision on the election should be taken after recovering from the coronavirus.

The Congress Working Committee has collectively decided that it would not be right to hold elections under the present circumstances. The Congress Working Committee decided to take the elections forward in June and not in June. The date will be set again after looking at the situation. The presidential election has been postponed 3 times since August last year.
