Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh's film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has finally hit the screens. The movie is a hilarious take on friendships, girlfriends and marriage. It's a tale of two friends and one of them wants to get married. However, Kartik's character is completely against his friend's decision of getting married. He even tells that if the girl and her family is that nice, something is wrong. However, his friend (played by Sunny) is smitten by Nushrat and isn't convinced by his friend's advice.

The movie has collected net Rs 26 crore at the domestic market. According to the source "From its trailer to its foot-tapping music, the film has made sure to cater content according to the taste of its target audience. And considering the popularity of Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise with the youth of the country, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is expected to have a strong box office opening of around Rs 4.25 crore. If the content is as good and the film is able to click with the audiences, the film could even go on to earn a sum of Rs 14 crore by the end of the weekend."

Talking about her role in the film, Nushrat said, "Sweety is today’s girl who likes simple things and is practical. She agrees to an arranged marriage with Titu, but his childhood friend, Sonu, feels threatened and starts creating problems. She takes him head-on and the two start fighting for space in Titu’s life. It’s the banter between Kartik and my character, which is new. I love this tashan."
