A high court has ordered an inquiry into the two following a complaint filed against superstar Sonu Sood and Congress MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui in view of the black marketing of Remdesivir amidst corona crisis. The Maharashtra government has told the court that a search has been launched.
Advocate General Ashutosh said, it has been observed that Siddiqui is helping many persons under a foundation called BDR. The trust has not been allowed to supply drugs. The Maharashtra government says they are criminally prosecuted. A case has been registered against the trust, trustee Dhir Shah, pharmaceutical company and 4 directors in the Majgaon Magistrate's Court. Judges SP Deshmukh and GS Kulkarni have asked whether the case has been filed against Siddiqui also or not. Ashutosh said that no case has been filed against the MLA so far and he has diverted everything to the trust.
The same Judge Kulkarni said that all these things that you have written in the affidavit are written only on the basis of one person. After a little search conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, they say that Sonu Sood and Zeeshan Siddiqui first sent them to a person who took them to b person. Then the person also took it to the same person. As the search was carried out, it was found that the dose of remdesivir was being sent by cipla company inside lifeline medical hospital.
