New Delhi: Sony has revealed that it is developing a handheld PlayStation gaming system that would make it simpler to play PS5 games. The new gadget, internally known as Project Q, was unveiled at the PlayStation Showcase event and is anticipated to go on sale later this year.

Additionally, the business disclosed that it is preparing its "first official wireless earbuds" for PS5 and PC gaming.

The new PS handheld device has an LCD screen that measures 8.0 inches. Up to 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second wireless playback are supported for gaming.

According to the official press release, you will be able to "play any compatible game installed on your PS5 console using Remote Play over Wi-Fi."The gadget will incorporate haptic feedback as well as adaptive triggers from the DualSense controller.

According to what we currently know, the new PlayStation portable device won't support cloud gaming, which means Sony might not permit users to stream games on the device outside of their home Wi-Fi network.

Cellular connections are supported by Sony's Remote Play, but the company made no mention of whether the upcoming gaming console will have this feature.

It's important to note that the PS5 console must have the games you play on the new Q handheld. The new gadget is not intended to function as a stand-alone gaming device like the Steam Deck or smartphones, but rather as an addition to the PS5. In the upcoming months, the company will provide more details, including pricing and availability.

At the Showcase event, Sony also talked about its first-ever wireless PlayStation earbuds. New wireless technology is said to be included in the earbuds, which will provide "lossless audio with low latency."

It appears that it might also be paired with a computer or smartphone. Similar to other PS5 accessories, the earbuds and charging case will have a black and white finish.

Not only that. The PlayStation Showcase event covered a lot more ground. The programme gave viewers a good look at the gameplay trailer for Spider-Man 2, which is set to hit theatres this autumn.
