Ranchi: Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has targeted the BJP leader central government over the Agneepath scheme. Soren mocked the name 'Agniveer' by calling the central government a 'sloganveer'. However, the game of words 'heroic' did not end there. Subsequently, the state BJP described the CM as a 'declarativeveer'.

Soren's remarks came at a time when job aspirants in the defence sector are staging violent protests against the scheme. These demonstrations have shaken many states. CM Soren tweeted in Hindi to express his views on the Agneepath scheme, "On the restoration contract and the name Agniveer! What more can be expected of this sloganeering government? Wake up, wake up the captains of the future!"

Reacting to CM Soren's tweeter, the BJP termed him as a 'declarativeer'. Bjp national vice-president Raghubar Das said in a tweet, "This sermon does not adorn the declarative. Those who have lost their jobs by promising 5 lakh jobs in a year and making false promises of unemployment allowance are today pretending to be pro-youth. Mr. CM, future captains will give you a befitting reply. Former Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das said the Agneepath scheme will provide an opportunity to the youth to serve the nation. Protests against the scheme were held in several parts of Jharkhand and a section of protesters staged blockades on railway tracks affecting services.
