In Odisha, the opposition Congress has demanded Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to clarify the situation in the case regarding the deposit in Yes Bank of Jagannath Puri.
Congress leader said this: The opposition party said that in the statement given by Law Minister Pratap Jena, the announcement of transferring God's money to the nationalized bank by the end of March is not enough. Congress leader Narsingh Mishra said, "This matter is a matter of concern as the sentiments of lakhs of devotees from all over the country are attached to it, so the Chief Minister should come forward and clarify the situation."

Yes Bank has more than 1000 branches and 1800 ATMs in India. The bank was started in 2004 by Rana Kapoor with his relative Ashok Kapoor. Ashok Kapoor died in 26/11 Mumbai attack (2011). Since then, a dispute started over the ownership of the bank. After the death of Ashok Kapoor, a dispute started between his wife Madhu Kapoor and Rana Kapoor. Madhu Kapoor wanted a place on the board for her daughter. The matter reached the court and Rana Kapoor won.
