AB de Villiers' new record helped South Africa to triumph against New Zealand

AB de Villiers, a South African cricketer, who set a new record of 9,000 runs in an ODI match, has led South Africa up for a resounding win against New Zealand with 159-run. The match was played in Wellington on Saturday, February 25.

AB hit an innings of 85 and during these runs, he made a new record and broke the record of former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly. He is now entitled as the fastest player to score 9,000 runs which lifted his side to 271 for 8. Along with de Villiers, Dwaine Pretorious and Andile Phehulkwayo's bowling effort helped in defeating New Zealand.
