New Delhi: A 25-year-old man was allegedly murdered by four to five men in south Delhi's Malviya Nagar area, police said on Sunday. It is being told that on August 11, 25-year-old Mayank was sitting with his friend in a fort in Begumpur in the Malviya Nagar area, when Mayank had an argument with 4-5 unidentified people over something. Around 4-5 boys attacked Mayank and his friend with stones. During this time, Mayank and his friend ran away from the fort to save their lives. However, the accused followed Mayank from the fort and reached the DDA market in the Malviya Nagar area and then surrounded Mayank and attacked him with knives in the crowded market. After that, the accused fled leaving Mayank half-dead. Meanwhile, Mayank's friend, with the help of people present on the road, admitted Mayank to AIIMS in an injured condition, where he died during treatment.
