The great playback singer SP Balasubramanian has been admitted to the hospital after a positive test for covid-19. Singer admitted himself to the hospital after discovering mild symptoms but in the last few days his health deteriorated and he was taken to ICU. The hospital later issued a statement as they took the SPB to the ICU and remained on life support. Recently, the hospital shared in a statement that SP Balasubramanian's health is stable, but he remains on life support. "He remains stable and doctors are closely monitoring his clinical parameters," a hospital doctor said in a statement.

Amidst the news of his gradual recovery, a photo of the 74-year-old singer of the hospital has gone viral on social media. This photo shows SPB a thumbs up and is shared by actor-filmmaker Manobla on his Twitter account. Meanwhile, fans and celebrities of the film industry are praying for his speedy recovery. SP Charan, SP Balasubramanian's son shared an update about his father's health in a video message. Charan said in a video message, "The doctors are confident that he will pull it towards him." He also mentioned that it is healing slowly but prayer is definitely helping.

Upon hospitalization, SP Balasubramanian recorded a video of himself and shared about being tested positive for COVID-19. "He said that you can stay at home and do self-quarantine and ask me to take some medicines. He said in the video but I didn't want to do that all my family members were very worried for me So, my friends, I got admitted in a hospital. Here I am and taking good care of me, ”.
