Lucknow: 18-year-old Samajwadi Party booth agent Sudhir Yadav, a resident of Chakaura village, was shot dead on the very next day of the second phase of voting in Tilhar assembly constituency of Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. In this controversy, BJP supporter Virendra Yadav has been injured due to bullet injury, who has been referred to Lucknow. The dispute between both the parties started during the voting on Monday 14 February.

People of both the political parties clashed with each other over fake voting at the booth. It is alleged that on Monday night also there was a fight between both the parties. On Tuesday morning, again after a dispute between the two sides, there was firing and stone pelting, in which Sudhir Yadav (18) lost his life due to bullet injury. At the same time, BJP supporter Virendra Yadav got injured. The atmosphere in the village is tense after the incident, due to which additional police force has been deployed. CO Tilhar is present on the spot and the village has been converted into a cantonment.

In the last phase of voting in Tilhar assembly on Monday, there was a dispute between SP and BJP supporters at several polling booths of Nigohi block. Due to this the incident started in Chakoura on Monday evening and was murdered on Tuesday. The attitude of the local police in the Nigohi block area was bad. Due to the dispute, only Nigohi block in the entire district remained in discussion due to the ruckus in the entire state.
