Lucknow: Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai has praised the yogi government's policy of encountering criminals in Uttar Pradesh. CM Bommai has said that this model of the Yogi government will be implemented to curb crime in Karnataka also. After this statement, the political rhetoric between the ruling party and the opponents intensified.

Samajwadi Party's (SP) Lok Sabha MP from Sambhal in UP, Shafiqur Rahman Barq, said on CM Bommai's statement, "I believe they should implement their model. There is a bulldozer model in Uttar Pradesh. People are being harassed. In this, the voice of the Muslims, backward and downtrodden is being suppressed, especially, bulldozers are being used for this. People are being prevented from opening their mouths.'' Barq further said that this slogan of hate should end. This country belongs to every person. We want the country to move forward, but the country will not develop until everyone is seen with one eye.

Reacting to Barq's statement, BJP MP Subrata Pathak said that the Karnataka CM has praised Uttar Pradesh because UP deserves it. Before 2017, the situation in the state was plagued by the people. There was no law and order before 2017. Governments were run in the name of caste and religion.
