Lucknow: The recently separated Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav from SBSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar has been accusing him of doing politics by staying in the AC room, but very soon Akhilesh will be seen campaigning on the road with his team. Former CM Akhilesh Yadav has prepared the complete blueprint for it. SP's padayatra will begin from Ghazipur on the occasion of the August Kranti Diwas on the 9th of this month.
As per the programme announced by the Samajwadi Party (SP), the party will take out a 'Desh Bachao Desh Banao Samajwadi Padyatra' from Ghazipur from August 9. The first phase of the yatra will pass through Ghazipur, Ballia, Mau, Jaunpur and Bhadohi and end in Varanasi on 27th October. According to the schedule released by SP state unit president Naresh Uttam Patel, the yatra will be led by Ghazipur district president Abhishek Yadav.
Political pundits say that the SP is also raising issues like public awareness and environmental protection through this padayatra, but its real aim is to strengthen the party's ground in UP once again. Akhilesh Yadav wants to make his workers on the streets and activate the SP on the political platform of UP ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. For this, there is a continuous round of churning in the party and programmes are being organised.
