Islamabad: India lashed out at the UN for the lies spoken by the Pak Mission. India has issued a strong statement saying that Pakistan has issued a false statement claiming that their representative Munir Akram addressed the UNSC while not allowing non-members to attend its session. The Indian Mission said that the biggest sponsor of cross-border terrorism is now trying to pretend to be a victim of terrorism itself.

The Pakistan Mission had on its website exposed the statement of the Permanent Representative as if they had given it to the UNSC, but the photographs tweeted by the German Mission revealed the Pakistan poll in which only 15 members of the council appeared in the meeting. And Pakistan is not its member.

Indian Mission said- "We failed to understand that the Permanent Representative of Pakistan spoke his statement because the Security Council session was not open to members.

Pak claimed in the statement that it is suffering from terrorism from across the border for decades. Rejecting this claim, the Indian Mission said, "Repeating the lie 100 times will not make it true. The biggest sponsors of cross-border terrorism against India are now planning to pretend to be victims of India-sponsored terrorism. Pakistan is the largest refuge of terrorists banned from the United Nations. Many of them continue unabated in Pakistan. In 2019, the Pakistan PM had admitted to the United Nations General Assembly that there are 40 to 50 thousand terrorists present in the country".

India also rejected Pak's claim that it has eliminated al-Qaeda in the region. The Indian mission said, "Perhaps, the Permanent Representative of Pakistan does not know that Osama bin Laden was hiding in their own country and the US Army had got him in Pakistan. PM of Pakistan called Laden a martyr?"
