New Delhi: Spyware firm NSO Group Ltd, which came into the limelight following allegations of phone hacking, is considering shutting down its controversial Pegasus virus. The crisis of default is growing even faster due to its debts on the Israeli company. The firm is in conversation with several investors to shut down or sell its Pegasus virus. The company's own people, speaking on condition of anonymity, have said that, Moelis &Co. Advisors are also going to be consulted in the case. However, the conversation has become very private and not much has come out in the case so far.

Two US funds included: Spyware Fund the people being talked to include 2 US funds as well. Discontinuing and taking control of both the funds Pegasus is also going to be discussed. Pegasus reports that an investment of 200 million to develop Israeli drone technology to secure cyber security is also in talks.

US pressure on NSO Group: Pressure from US sanctions on NSO Group is increasing even faster after it was embroiled in controversy. The company needs to repay a loan of about $450 million. The company has been given a loan of about one billion dollars. A loan of more than $300 million was given to the company in 2019.

NSO to become smaller company after Pegasus: Israel's spyware firm NSO Group could become a very small company after pegasus shut down. The company expects to sell $230 million this year, down by eight percent compared to 2018.
