Sri Lanka Cricket Announces 2024 Men's Season Fixtures

Sri Lanka Cricket has officially revealed its international lineup for the upcoming 2024 season. Kicking off with a white-ball series against Zimbabwe in January at home, the Lankan team is set to engage in three ODIs and an equal number of T20Is, marking the inception of the fresh season. Following this opener, Sri Lanka will host Afghanistan for a comprehensive series in January and February, featuring a one-off Test, three ODIs, and three T20Is.

A significant highlight of the season awaits in July when India visits the island nation for a six-match white-ball series. The tour includes three T20Is and three ODIs, occurring post the culmination of the T20 World Cup 2024. Subsequently, the Lankans will embark on their maiden away tour to Bangladesh, participating in a two-match Test series, accompanied by three games in each white-ball format from February to March 2024.

The ultimate challenge for Sri Lanka awaits at the T20 World Cup 2024, slated for June and July in the USA and West Indies. Following this global event, the team is set to engage in a high-profile series against India. After the conclusion of the India series, Sri Lanka will journey to England for a compelling three-match Test series in August and September 2024. Returning from England, the team will host New Zealand for a two-Test series in September, followed by the Kiwis' return to Sri Lanka in November for three ODIs and three T20Is.

In October, the islanders will welcome West Indies for a white-ball series, consisting of three ODIs and an equivalent number of T20Is. The final two tours will see Sri Lanka undertake a red-ball tour to South Africa in November and December for two games, followed by a white-ball series in New Zealand.
