Ladakh is now a separate union territory, not a part of Kashmir facing terrorism, separatism, after the change in the Kashmir issue of the Government of India in the past. In such a situation, tourists of the world should be invited to come to Kashmir without fear. In the field of tourism, introduce Ladakh as a separate brand in the world. To promote tourism Union Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, who arrived in Ladakh, gave this message to the people associated with the tourism sector. In order to explore options for promoting tourism in Ladakh, the Minister of Tourism has visited Ladakh along with the officials of the Ministry. A team of officials from the ministry accompanying him has drawn up a plan to promote tourism in Ladakh on a large scale by tapping the pulse of all sections of society in Leh, Kargil.

For your information, Patel was invited to visit Ladakh last month by Ladakh BJP MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal. Prahlad Singh Patel attended the Ladakh ceremony held on Wednesday as the chief guest. Patel, who had independent charge of the tourism department during the Leh tour, met Ladakh MP, Hill Development Council chief executive Gyal P. Wangyal and other officials to know the expectations of the people of the region. During this, he assured that no effort will be left to promote tourism in Leh and Kargil.

Officials of the Ministry met with people associated with tourism, tour operators, hotel industry in Leh. During this, through the memorandum, Union Tourism Minister Prahlad Patel urged that Ladakh be presented as a separate tourist destination in the world. Among those who submitted the memorandum, Sonam Parvez, general secretary of Ladakh Hotel Association also raised their issues. Meanwhile, along with exploring the possibilities of developing tourism in Ladakh, the Union Minister also got to know about the rich culture of the region. He also met the officials of Leh and Kargil unit of Buddhist Association, State BJP in Leh and Kargil and got information about people's aspirations. Later he also reached the Thikse Math in Leh.
