In the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee held in the Assembly on Wednesday, the ruling party and the opposition (Congress and Left Front) agreed to bring a proposal against NRC. It is said that during the passing of the resolution against the NRC, the Trinamool chief and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be present in the house and participate in the debate. The proposal will be passed.

Earlier on Tuesday, Left Front Legislature Party leader Sujan Chakraborty had demanded a discussion on it without bringing a resolution against NRC in the Assembly. On this, he also got the support of Congress and state government minister Sovan Chatterjee. Shobhan had said that the demand to implement NRC in this state will not be met on any condition. After this, a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee was held in the Parliament House on Wednesday in which approval has been given by the Left and Congress with the ruling party to bring the proposal.
