The Indian film industry's well-known actor Sreenivasan is facing serious health problems these days. On March 31, he underwent emergency surgery after suffering from cardiac arrest. Meanwhile, recently hospital sources said that he is going to be shifted to ventilator support. Not only this, Sreenivasan had suffered a cardiac arrest on March 30, after which he was admitted to a private hospital, where he underwent surgery a day later. The medical report had come to know about him suffering from triple vessel disease.

According to reports, Sreenivasan underwent surgery on his 66th birthday. His fans have also been sharing several posts on Twitter to wish the actor a speedy recovery. Sreenivasan is said to be one of the most popular actors in the Malayalam movie industry. Apart from acting, he is also popular as a scriptwriter, producer and director.

Sreenivasan has dubbed movies for nearly five decades. Since making his acting debut in 1976, he has acted in more than 250 movies. He has worked with Malayalam actor Mohanlal in most of the movies. The combo of the two has entertained the audience for many years. Some of his popular films include Varvelpu and Nadodikkattu. Sreenivasan's two sons Vineet and Dhyan have also managed to make their mark in the industry.
