The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the results for the Junior Engineer (JE) paper 1 exam 2023 on its website, ssc.nic.in. Aspiring candidates who took part in this examination for civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering can now view and download their results from the SSC's official portal.
Among the candidates who appeared for the exam, a total of 10,154 have been selected for civil engineering, while 2,073 candidates have been chosen for electrical or mechanical engineering positions.
The SSC JE is a nationwide competitive examination conducted annually by the SSC to appoint Junior Engineers (JEs) in various ministries and departments. The minimum qualifying percentages for paper 1 are as follows: 30% for the unreserved category (60 marks), 25% for the Other Backward Caste (OBC) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates (50 marks), and 20% for all other categories (40 marks).
Here are the steps to access the Junior Engineer (civil, mechanical, and electrical) exam result 2023:
Step 1: Visit the official SSC JE website at ssc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Result’ section on the homepage.
Step 3: Go to the JE tab and select the result link.
Step 4: The list of qualified candidates will display on the screen.
Step 5: Download and keep a printed copy of the result PDF for future reference.
The paper 2 of the Junior Engineer examination 2023 is slated to take place on December 4. Further information such as the admission certificate for selected candidates, final answer keys, and the marks of both qualified and non-qualified candidates from paper 1 will be accessible soon.
Previously, the Staff Selection Commission conducted the JE paper 1 exam in a computer-based format across multiple centers nationwide from October 9 to October 11, 2023.
