Lohardaga: In a shameful incident, two police personnel gang-raped a woman from Jharkhand. The woman has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. According to the report, a 50-year-old widow woman from the village of Peshrar block of Lohardaga has been a victim of brutality. The woman was raped by two police personnel. The villagers and the woman's family alleged that the police personnel attacked and injured the woman's delicate organs.

At present, the woman has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. According to the family, the victim had gone to cut grass in the maize field. Due to that, two police personnel carried out an incident of cruelty with her. The names of the criminal jawans and their posts are not clear. After the incident, the woman somehow managed to save her life and reached her house. The woman was rushed to the hospital at 2 am with the help of villagers in a critical condition. After receiving the news, the police took stock of the incident.
Police are investigating the case. Angry over the incident, local panchayat representative Eva, rural women reached Lohardaga Hospital in large numbers and demanded strict action against the culprits. The head of the panchayat said, "There has been a brutal incident with a woman. She should get justice. The rape incident was carried out by police personnel posted in Serengdag.'' The victim said that the culprits were police personnel. Peshrar block chief Sita Devi said, "What will happen to the common man if those who are responsible for security commit crimes? The perpetrators of the incident should be punished. Strict action should be taken.'' Lohardaga women's police station in-charge Navita Mahato reached the hospital and recorded the statement of the victim woman. The woman police station in-charge said, "The victim's statement has been taken. Search is underway. It is our responsibility to punish those who are involved in this crime."
