Ajit Singh was again elected as the President of the National Lok Dal on December 27, after the date of investigation and withdrawal of nomination. At the same time, he was declared elected unopposed due to the sole nomination of Dr. Masood Ahmad to the post of state president. The state president, Dr. Masood Ahmad, said that the movement is ready for public issues. He alleged that the most oppression of farmers and poor in the history of the state has taken place only during the BJP rule.
