Protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act have been going on in Shaheen Bagh for nearly two months. The organizers are engaged in reviving it again. The protesters say that they will not end the protest until the government withdraws the CAA. Kalindi Kunj-Noida road is completely closed due to the Shaheen Bagh demonstration. More than two million people visiting Delhi, Noida, Faridabad are affected by this. But the protesters are adamant on their insistence. Instead of getting trouble from millions of people, they are worried about how to make Shaheen Bagh again.

For your information, let us tell you that there are about 100 showrooms around the picket. Where there was crores of business everyday, in this case, traders have lost several crores so far. On the condition of anonymity, many traders said that they are suffering a lot, but cannot resist the protest. Even if we keep our point, the protesters start calling us traitors of the community. In such a situation, tolerating loss is the only option because we have to live among these people.

Due to this demonstration, the DTC bus service has stopped on the route connecting Jamia Millia and Shaheen Bagh. Due to the closure of the bus service, people have to travel by e-rickshaw and auto. Taking advantage of this, e-rickshaw drivers have increased the fares to double. Whereas before the fare from Shaheen Bagh to Abul Fazal Enclave was 5 rupees, now people have to pay 10 to 15 rupees. At the same time, the fare of e-rickshaw from Shaheen Bagh stumble number nine to Jamia Millia University has gone up to 20 rupees.
