Ahmedabad: The 'Statue of Unity', a memorial dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India, has achieved a big place. The Statue of Unity has become the highest-grossing monument among the top 5 monuments in the country. This has been revealed in the survey conducted by the Archaeological Survey of India.

The survey conducted by the Archaeological Survey of India responsible for archaeological studies and maintenance of cultural monuments stated that the Statue of Unity has become the highest-grossing monument among the top 5 monuments in the country. Under this, where the Taj Mahal has earned 56 crore rupees in a year, then Statue of Unity has earned 63 crores. Let us tell you that on October 31, one year has been completed for the Statue of Unity.

Actually, the Statue of Unity of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is 182 meters high (597 feet) and it is the tallest statue in the world. Its special thing is that Rs 2,989 crore has been spent to build it and it has been prepared by Larsen & Toubro Company. This statue is present at a place named Sadhu Bet, 3.2 km from Sardar Sarovar Dam, which is an island on the Narmada River. More than 3000 people and more than 250 engineers have worked in making this statue.
