According to Palantir Technologies, AIP will enable businesses, government agencies, and other organisations to safely use Large Language Models (LLMs) within their private networks to make decisions about logistics and other things.

Decision-making and battlefield intelligence will benefit from it.

"You have a weapon that will allow you to win and frighten your competitors/adversaries," said Karp. "If you wheel the technologies correctly, safely, and securely."

AIP can display/analyze intelligence on enemy targets, identify potentially hostile situations, suggest battle plans, and then forward plans to the commanding officers for implementation, as shown in a demo video posted by Palantir Technologies on its official website.
The AI tool also has uses in society at large. Manufacturing businesses might use it to plan and evaluate their operations in the event of natural disasters.
