Bengaluru: Unhappy with the teacher's scolding in Karur city of Karnataka, a student tried to commit suicide by jumping from the first floor of the school. She suffered serious injuries to her leg and hip in the incident. The girl student is undergoing treatment in the hospital in critical condition. Police are investigating the case. The girl student has also told the police about the reason for the suicide attempt. 

A student studying in class 10th at Government Higher Secondary School present in the Lalapet police station area of ​​Karur took the dreadful step. She was immediately taken to the hospital in critical condition. She is being treated here. At present, her condition is said to be fine.

When the Lalapet police station reached the hospital and asked her the reason for the step, the student said, "Cultural programs were going on at the school. I was also present in the program. That's why the girl from the school asked me to make a video of the ceremony on her mobile. But I refused. Then she said give the mobile to someone else. When I looked around, everyone was sitting far away. So I started making videos myself. But then the teacher caught me with the mobile and scolded me in front of everyone. I also told them that someone else has asked me to make a video. But the teacher did not listen to me and called me a liar in front of everyone. I felt very bad about this. That's why I jumped from the first floor of the school.''

Lalapet police station police officer investigating the case has said that the girl student has said to jump because of the teacher's scolding. Still, we are probing from another angle.
