New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy has started a court battle against his own government. While filing a petition in the Delhi High Court, he appealed to pass an order against the Center. Swamy says that the Center is not able to provide adequate security at his private residence. This threatens their security system.

The High Court has listed the matter for hearing on 31 October i.e. Monday. A bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma will hear the matter. Let us tell you that Subramanian Swamy was given z security cover by the central government. On 15 January 2016, he was allotted a government bungalow in Lutyens' Delhi for five years. The government believed that his life was in danger. After that Swamy became a Rajya Sabha member. However, his term ended on April 24.

According to the rules, the tenure of the government bungalow allotted to him also expired. But still, the house remained with him. Recently he was asked to vacate the government bungalow immediately. The former MP had vacated the bungalow after that.
