Chandigarh: Sufi singer Jyoti Nooran has filed a court case for divorcing her husband Kunal Pasi. In fact, she has demanded protection from the police citing a threat to her life. Jalandhar Rural SSP Swarndeep Singh has reportedly informed about the matter. He said "A complaint has been received from the singer, which has been given to the DSP Women's Cell for investigation. Jyoti Nooran has also accused her husband Pasi of being a "top-class addict".'' Talking to media persons in Jalandhar, Sufi singer Jyoti Nooran said, "I married Kunal Pasi of my own free will in 2014. At the time, I knew he was just smoking. About a year later, when he started assaulting me, it was revealed that he consumed opium, charas and ganja.''

Along with this, the Sufi singer has also accused her husband of embezzling Rs 20 crore. In fact, Jyoti Nooran has alleged that Kunal Pasi has disappeared the crores of rupees that she had earned by doing shows in the country and abroad. At the same time, Nooran said that her husband used to book all the shows, and the account book of money also stayed with him. Now only 92,000 rupees are left in his bank account.
