Sultanpur: A road accident has taken place in Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. A car carrying goods collided with a tree near Khalispur Digur village in Dostpur police station area. The driver lost his life in the accident.
Superintendent of Police Dr Vipin Kumar said that the accident took place near Khalispur Digur village in Dostpur police station area. He said the driver of a speeding pickup van caused a major accident when the vehicle lost control at around 6pm on Thursday. The van hit a tree on the side of the road causing the driver to die on the spot. The driver has been identified as Ramcharitra (35) alias Baisu.
Body recovered with the help of gas cutter: Janha It is learnt that the villagers informed the Dostpur police after the incident. Police who rushed to the spot cut off the front of the seriously crashed van with the help of a gas cutter and fished out the driver's body and sent it for postmortem.
