The second wave of corona infection is very dangerous and a lot of efforts are being made by the Education Department. Now, under the recent information, it has been decided to include NCC as an optional subject in the overall curriculum of Universities and Colleges.

Yes, as in the course of graduation examinations, NCC will now be available as an optional subject like other optional subjects (e.g. science, commerce, art, law, music, etc.). At the same time, it has been reported that the total number of credits in the NCC course will be 24 which are divided into 6 semesters. In fact, it will take up theory and practical classes of military subjects (Army, Navy, Air Force) along with general subjects and a 10-day camp which will summarize the puri training.

You all must be aware that in view of the impact of the second wave of corona infection in the state, colleges including schools are currently closed.
