As a result, Malli Modalaindi's producers have chosen a direct OTT distribution. The film's OTT rights were acquired by Zee Group, and it will be available on Zee5 very soon. In the next days, we may see more small films choose for Direct-to-OTT releases.

Sumanth followed up Malli Raava with flops like Subrahmanyapuram, Idham Jagath, and Kapatadhaari. He had great hopes for this film, but it is now going for the OTT.
