Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth has finally announced to distance himself from politics forever. Announcing this on Monday, Thalaiva also dissolved its organisation Rajni Makkal Mandram (RMM). Speaking on the occasion, Rajinikanth said that he has no plans to come back to Politics in future.
Rajinikanth further said that his organization will now continue to work for the welfare of the people in the name of Rajni Rasigar Narpani Mandram. Actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth announced on December 29, 2020 that he would not enter politics. But recently he said that he would reconsider entering politics. But now they have put an end to all speculation. Tamil Nadu's politics was in turmoil amid discussions about Rajinikanth entering politics again.
In December 2020, Rajinikanth himself said that he would launch his political party in January 2021. All this was going to happen before the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. But in the last week of December Rajinikanth took a U-turn and said he would not join politics. After that, several members of Rajinikanth's organization had joined political parties including DMK.
