The latest statement of Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has emerged during the Corona period. In which he said that the Ministry of Health is working tirelessly to strengthen the health infrastructure in accordance with the resolve of a self-reliant India. He said in a tweet that so far, 11,300 'Make in India' ventilators have been sent. Of these, 6154 have reached hospitals. The Ministry of Health is going to supply 1.02 lakh oxygen cylinders across India. Of these, 72,293 have been delivered. In another tweet, he said that since 1 April 2020, more than 2.02 crore N95 masks and more than 1.18 crore PPE kits have been distributed free of cost to the States / Union Territories for corona prevention.

The ministry further said that the central government is also ensuring its installation and commissioning. This will help in bridging the large gaps in the availability of ventilators in facilities in the Vid ICU. More than 6.12 crore HCQ tablets have been given to the states and union territories. The central government, along with the states and union territories, is continuously working for the coronavirus and management.

Efforts are being made to strengthen the health structure to counter the corona epidemic. The central government is playing a major role in this task. Explain that the Center is providing medical supplies to the State and Union Territory Governments to supplement their efforts, along with increasing facilities to fight Corona. The statement underlined that most of the products supplied by the Center were not initially manufactured in the country and global demand had increased due to the epidemic.
