Supreme Court expresses concern over rising corona cases in India

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has expressed concern over people not wearing masks despite Corona's case continuously increasing. The court has also commented on the large scale wedding and the continuation of political programs. This discussion was held during the hearing on the treatment facility of corona infection in hospitals of the country. The court has said that it will issue an order in the case on 18 December.

The apex court is itself taking cognizance of the treatment of corona treatment in hospitals across the country. The court has issued several instructions to provide better facilities to the people. During this hearing, the court took cognizance of the fire at Covid Hospital in Rajkot, Gujarat. 6 patients lost their lives in this accident. In addition to seeking a report from the Gujarat government, the court had sought information on fire safety in Corona hospitals across the country.

On giving information to the top court today, the Gujarat government has said that it has taken many steps to protect against fire. The special duty of 328 fire safety officers has been imposed in the corona hospitals of the state. The court said that out of 214 Covid hospitals in the state, 68 have still not received a No Objection Certificate from the fire department. The state government should pay attention to this.
