Lucknow: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced to contest the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections to be held in 2022. Since this announcement by Arvind Kejriwal, the fight started between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has described AAP's dream of fighting Mungerilal in UP.

Keshav Prasad Maurya tweeted, 'Delhi with a population of two crores is not stable and the party is talking about taking care of Uttar Pradesh with a population of 24 crores.' AAP also retaliated on Maurya's tweet. AAP tweeted that BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of crimes in the country, 13.2% of murders are highest in the country. Uttar Pradesh has the highest crime rate of 14.7% against women in the country, Keshav Maurya, do you call it 'handling'?

Siddharth Nath Singh, a minister in the UP government, also said in a press conference on Tuesday that AAP has no support base in UP and their condition will be worse than the Congress. On the issue of free electricity and Mohalla clinics, the Minister said that telemedicine facility is already being provided in UP, if electricity is concerned then Delhi gets more financial assistance from the Center. People of UP are not going to come in your words.
